Welcome to our 7th full-length album, Into the Lightless Depths - a tumultuous journey that extends far beyond the spectrum of this broken world and into a place where light can no longer be found. In these depths you will find pain and regret, abandonment and wrath. Also, you will find a eulogistic farewell, as only Solemn Eternal can, to those that are no longer with us - swallowed by merciless rivers of time – as, one day of course, we all shall be.

Speaking of time, we also turned back the clock a little on this album, mostly reverting to an archaic sound that predates the Godless album. A harsher, more dissident guitar tone was infused throughout Into the Lightless Depths, giving it a darker, a more sinister and ancient feel to it.
